New Tile & Bathtub
For this project, the customer wanted to remodel the bathroom area for aesthetic reasons. They chose to install new tile and replace the bathtub.
Demolition of the Bathtub
Previosly, there was a built-in bathtub. This design was popular in the early 2000s. The tile that surrounds the bathtub is the same as the tile floor.
We Protect Your Home
Easier Remodeling understands that the project space is a part of your home. Most times, home owners stay in their home during remodels. Our team works hard to keep the area as clean and protected as possible. We install plastic coverings in the areas surrounding the workspace and the air vents to keep the dust from going into other areas of the house. In other remodels that do not include flooring work, we cover the the floors to protect them from scratches. Not only do we cover the workspace floor but the floor leading up to the workspace. Equipment is put away at the end of the day to keep the space clean, organized, and safe.
Tile & Bathtub Installation
For this bathtub installation the best approach was to also install new tile floor as floor repairs would be still be necessary with only the bathtub update. Because the bathtub designs were different, the plumbing was also updated to accomodate the new tub faucet.
Benefits of a Freestanding Tub
Currently, freestanding tubs are in style and give your bathroom a modern and luxourious feel. However, if your prefer a more vintage style, there are other options such as clawfoot tubs. There are multiple designs and materials to choose from that will fit the vision you have for your bathroom space.
